I've been looking for bamboo flooring. I want something that is eco-friendly. I want to use sustainable resources. I know that wood takes approximately 15-20 years to reach maturity and that the non-harmful harvesting of bamboo takes just 3 to 5 years.

As well as being environmentally sound, bamboo flooring is competitively priced and easy to fit. My parents think that wood flooring will always be superior to bamboo flooring. I think that the ease of fitting is always a worry for the prospective purchaser.
